This was the first time that my Floof had been to a cattery, and while it's difficult to tell how her stay was, I've not seen anything from her to suggest that she didn't enjoy the experience. She's certainly had lots to tell me since she's been home. The general feeling when you drop your cat off is, they're in safe hands and will be well looked after. What more do you want?!

I have tried multiple catteries over the years with my 2 cats and Tan House is the only cattery that both of my cats have arrived home relaxed and not anxious and looking as healthy as they did when I dropped them off. Staff are always lovely!! Always recommend these to my friends and will continue to do so. I can now go on holidays without having to worry about my cats.

Where do I start. It's so easy to book your cat in confirmations sent on time reminders sent too. Big smiles when you arrive from the team, making you feel totally at ease and confident that your cat will be cared for. Same service when you arrive to pick up. My cat is always content and calm when I pick her up showing that she has been well cared for. I love using Tan House Cattery and I have every confidence that they look after my baby well.

We always book Felix in at Tan House Farm when we go on holiday. When it's time to pick him up he's always relaxed and settled, which shows how well he's looked after. I sometimes think he looks forward to his 'holidays' just as much as my wife and I!!!

Linda and Emma looked after our cat extremely well, due to an old injury he needs to wear a bandage daily and this was absolutely no trouble for them to accommodate Toby. We felt content that he was in very safe hands, drop off and collection was a breeze. Will definitely be using Tan House Farm again in the future and recommending them to friends/family.

Tikka has been coming here since we got him as a rescue 5 years ago and we cannot fault the care he receives when we are on holiday. The staff are absolutely lovely and really take an interest in each individual cat's needs and personalities. We wouldn't take Tikka anywhere else!

They make leaving your cat with them a pleasant experience. It's not nice leaving your cat, but everyone at Tan House is so friendly and accommodating. My cat is always relaxed when he returns. It was my cat's second stay at Tan House Farm Cattery and she appears to be just fine - she's certainly not lost weight and although she's happy to be home she does (I think) enjoy her visits because she seems to be fairly chilled when she gets home. We have been taking our cat, Raymond Reddington, to Tan House Farm Cattery for several years now, and the service is always brilliant. We feel such peace of mind knowing he is well cared for, and it is so lovely to see him popping up on the Cattery's social media posts during his stay. It makes us smile every time! Last December we missed our plane home due to an emergency situation. Tan House were so understanding - extending Raymond's stay so we had one less thing to worry about while trying to get back to the UK. We are very grateful to all the team.

Thank you so much for looking after Princess Cleo. I really don't ever want to leave her and I get so stressed about it but Linda and Emma are so lovely, caring and understanding they always put my mind at rest. Cleo was very chilled and relaxed when I picked her up and she now like tuna after joining in on the weekly tuna party (she wouldn't eat it before). Everything fine, thank you, Buddy came to us at the end of 2023, he is 5 years old. We have not had many breaks recently, mainly because our previous cat, Sprout, had never been in a cattery and was approaching 19. So this was the ideal opportunity for us to take a midweek break for a few years, we could take Izzy the spaniel with us, but it was a great opportunity to try Buddy in the cattery, and Tan House Farm was recommended by a number of people we know, Now we know we can do the same again, without any worries. Our cat Sienna absolutely loved her stay at Tan House Farm Cattery, she especially enjoyed the two "tuna parties" she attended. We were really pleased when we picked her up to hear how well she had eaten and also the lady who looked after her remembered that her eyes sometimes need some attention. She answered my many questions quickly and set my mind at ease. The relief at being able to leave Joey at a safe secure place whilst we were away took a huge stress out of our holiday. we'll definitely use Tan House again.

Our cats, ObiWan Catnobi and Luke SkyWhiskers, have been visitors at Tan House Farm for a few years now. The service is always very friendly, prices competitive and there is usually good availability (although we do try to give as much notice as possible). We like that it's a service just for cats as they can be nervous around dogs. The cats always come home looking healthy and happy. We always look forward to seeing their pictures posted on Facebook while we are away. We recommend Tan House Farm to friends and it's nice when we see pics of their cats when they're on holiday too. They are really conscientious about their diet and checking vaccinations are up to date.

My late Mother's elderly cat Charley lived at Tan House for 10 months before he came to join me in Greece. Linda and Emma were fantastic at settling him in (he is very nervous) and looking after him during his long stay. They were also very helpful when it came time for him to travel. He seems slightly calmer than before and is very happy to be with me again, showing his approval by sniffing my fingers, licking them and then biting them! I would heartily recommend Tan House Farm. A great place.

Brilliant place, my lovely 1 year old cat went on holiday there for a week. She is(was!?) a nervy sort but settled well in the cattery. She has come home today and her confidence has grown so much, she is more affectionate, happier and finally loves a cuddle. She has even allowed me to pick her up while walking past her, which is something she has never allowed me to do! It has clearly done her the world of good to just chill and watch the other cats. I was kept up to date with how she was whenever I asked. She has another holiday booked there in summer, if she could talk I bet she can't wait to go! We have just collected our cat Raymond from his first ever visit to Tan House Farm Cattery and were delighted to find him calm, relaxed and his usual happy self. It was such a joy to see him popping up on Instagram and Facebook whilst we were away, and to receive such thoughtful, kind and comforting private messages from Emma and her team. We felt truly able to be present on holiday without any anxieties about Raymond. The pen we chose for him was spacious, clean and engaging, and it was nice to be able to leave his favourite cushion for a scent of home. Emma took care to understand Raymond's nutritional needs and ensure that they were met, and we were especially pleased to discover the cattery provided Raymond's favourite brand of food during his stay at no additional cost. We feel we can now truly look forward to future holidays - knowing that Raymond will be well-cared for by kind, attentive people in a 'home from home'. Highly recommended.

A top class 5 star cat hotel! I always feel totally at ease leaving my cats as I know they are safe and looked after lovingly. The cattery is in a quiet rural location and has lots of extras to keep my fur babies happy including play pens; toys; comfy beds and their favourite tuna parties! Wonderful staff go above and beyond to keep the cats happy and healthy; daily updates on social media including videos and pictures show how happy and contend the cats are in their care.

Wanted to say a huge thanks to the staff. Just picked my 2 boys up after them spending a week for their 1st time. We were greeted with head rubs and meows they are very relaxed and happy. I was so anxious leaving them but regular updates and pictures really helped. Highly recommend! Blacky and Tabs will be back twice next year.

My kitten Bertie stayed for 2 nights, I was so confident in leaving Bertie as never left him before. I would definitely recommend tan house farm. Bertie has come back happy as ever. There is nothing whatsoever that I can say needs improvement. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The cattery is spotlessly clean too. Their visitors are pampered and, in order to reassure owners, pictures are posted on Facebook unless owner opts out. Give them a try. Your cat will thank you for it.

Our cats Jack & Ace stay at Tan House Farm Cattery whenever we go away. Emma is wonderful and looks after them so well. The pens are spacious and facilities are really clean. The extras offered such as treat bags and the hire of water fountains are brilliant. I wouldn't want to take Jack and Ace anywhere else and would highly recommend Tan House

I can't thank the staff enough at Tan House Farm for taking such great care of my cat Minnie. The day before I was due to go on holiday she was rushed to the vets with pancreatitis and was given medication. I was worried about leaving her but I was sent updates and pictures whilst I was away. She came home looking fabulous, medication finished and her fur was so soft. Whenever she is stressed (timid cat) her skin gets very flaky and there wasn't any just a nice shiny coat and she was very happy. I will be using Tan house farm again and highly recommended to anyone who needs someone to take great care of their furry babies.

Very professional, friendly, reliable, clean. We travel quite a way to use this cattery, wouldn't go anywhere else. Oh and big thing for me is it's just a cattery (no dogs or loud noises). The staff seem to love their job and the cat's get lots of fussing.

Very happy with the service and support. My cat is diabetic, requiring insulin injections and monitoring. I can always relax on holiday, safe in the knowledge that my cat is in good hands at Tan House Farm. Staff are very friendly and professional - they clearly love what they do.

I was just recommending Tan House Farm when I realised I hadn't posted my review myself. These guys are fantastic! My Teemo (cross Ragdoll) went for a holiday last year for a week. When we went to pick him up, he was having cuddles and whilst happy to see me, wasn't overly desperate to come home! Once we did home, he was happy, affectionate and clearly had enjoyed his little holiday. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them at all. It's so hard to leave our little fur babies but these guys really do care for them as if they were their own. We sadly were due to go away recently so would have needed you but obviously due to the current climate we ended up staying at home. But we will be using you again in the future I'm sure.

Emma Linda and the team are amazing here genuinely care about our fur babies as if they were their own and it shows our boy skips into his holiday home and is happy and healthy when we pick him up having received lots of love and cuddles when were away. This place is fab! Left our cat here for the first time (she's always been looked after at home, never been in a cattery before) for just over 2 weeks. Came back from holiday to find a very happy & content cat - so much so that she didn't want to come our of her bed & pen when we went to collect her to bring her home!! Back at home, she has been very affectionate, vocal & content. I would highly recommend this cattery, as they treat the cats as if they were their own - not run as a business, but more as a home away from home. Well done guys! And a big shout out to Emma who works at the cattery for sending us updates/photos along the way. God bless you all.

Would highly recommend this wonderful cattery! Our cat is very quiet and timid but she was so settled and looked after by the lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Found this little gem of a place by chance and I couldn't be happier that I did! With our cats being house cats they aren't the most confident in catteries so I do worry a lot. When they have come back from previous catteries they sulk for at least a week. My worries were instantly put at ease. Emma was wonderful sending me pictures/updates of the cats while we were away. When we came home they were affectionate and clearly happy. This place is incredible and I cannot recommend it enough! We will definitely bring our cats Jess and Winston back!

My cat Elvis loves her time at this cattery. What's more is I know she's in safe & caring hands whilst she's there. The staff are simply amazing. My husband & I have just got back from a trip to Munich & Emma emailed us every night & sent a photo of Elvis too. It's one thing to know your furry friend is in good hands but it's truly wonderful to be able to "see" them every day too! The cat cabins are spacious - over two levels & are lovely & clean. They cater to any diets & they even gave Elvis some of her favourite treats every day. They don't insist on money first then pick up your cat like some cattery's we've tried in the past. We always see Elvis first & get her settled into her cat carry before paying. The cost is very reasonable too. It's not our local cattery - it's about a 30 minute drive from where we live. But it's worth it. It's a lovely place, in lovely surroundings ran by decent & lovely people. Emma there is fab! I cannot recommend this place enough!

We were worried about leaving our two cats for a three week break, especially as one is an Oriental with ADHD and thin fur so feels the cold. We needn't have worried. Tan House found a large well heated pen they could both live in together. The pen had upper and lower areas so they could have their own space. The entire place looked spotless, and as a lovely touch they emailed photo's and an update every week so we could enjoy our holiday without worrying. The customer service from Emma was excellent. We wouldn't consider booking our cats anywhere else now!

We had not used a cattery before but needed not have worried. Holly's pen had several cosy places to sleep and a view of the horses, which she apparently enjoyed! She seemed healthy and happy when we picked her up and I would not hesitate to use Tan House Farm again.

I love this place. I have an 8 month old little boy and I had to leave him for 5 days. I was very reluctant to leave him with anyone so I checked out a few reviews and eventually decided to visit Tan House because it rated extremely high. I now understand why. The care that your cat will receive here almost makes me feel guilty for not meeting their high standards! Emma who is the manager adores all the cats that she looks after and loves them like there were her own. The facilities are great with a huge choice of where you would like your cat to stay. I chose the cottage because it has music for company, lots of sunlight and a view of the horses. Next time though, when he is older, I might put him in one which offers access to outside, I got photos every day of him which was so much more than I could have asked for. And I have no doubts whatsoever that he was loved and cared for. Whatever they are paying Emma, it's not enough lol. Thank you Emma xx

Been with this cattery for a while and I honestly don't think they get the praise they deserve! Been to their neighboring catteries, but this is by far is the best. My cat is always well groomed when picking him up and he looks so happy! The manager is always so lovely and it surprises me that she still remembers my cats name & food after months of not boarding with them. They always update me through WhatsApp which is great because I get the pictures sent straight to my phone. 10 out of 10. I will always use them!

It was the first time for us leaving our cats at a cattery and they were only kittens. High level of customer service, the staff are very friendly and you are made to feel at ease as soon as you walk in. They understand that it isn't easy to leave your pet. We hadn't been to look round nor have we visited a cattery before, however once we saw the pen we thought our kittens wouldn't want to leave. Due to the numerous beds to chose from, huge scratch post structures, climbing ramps and toys. We will see you next holiday.

Left my cat with Tan House Farm Cattery this Christmas and was really delighted with service, welcome and general experience. Every cat has a heated, spacious and toy filled pen, some with views out over the fields. The staff were warm and genuinely interested in the cats, and each cat has a welfare card on their pens for comments/handover notes. There was even a little gift for Luna for Christmas, and we received a photo on Christmas Day. We will definitely be returning.

We left our two cats with you in October, can't remember the block where they were staying but you could see the horses. There was so many toys, beds and places for them to climb I was really impressed. When picking up the cats they were in great condition and you could tell they were brushed regularly. Thank you.

We normally have to cut mats out of our cats' fur, he hardly grooms himself, he hasn't got long fur but is a scruffy tom. After leaving him at tan house farm for two weeks we picked him up with glossy fur. Don't know how they do it proves that they do spend time with the cats. See you next holiday.

Recently went for a viewing at this place, had a lot of time for my family. We spent a lot of time walking round and were showed all of the different types of places our cat could stay, really took the time to sort out which accommodation would be best for her. After being let down by our regular cattery, at short notice we had to find somewhere for our cat. We viewed a couple of catteries in the surrounding areas of Warrington. Tan House Farm stood out head and shoulders above the rest. The cats there are not just a cat in a numbered pen, but are treated as their own pets. Everything our boy needed was catered for down to food, bedding, toys and furniture in the pens. He came home very happy and we will certainly be using here again. Cheers
